Contact us for pricing.

In addition to the traditional Amazonian cruises, we now offer new routes in an expedition charter for a deeper experience of the Amazon. Small groups - from 4 to 10 people - to provide a more personalized and cozy trip. Since 2005, we have been providing different trips to places not frequented by other tourist boats. These new routes came from the idea of presenting something new to our clients who love visiting the Amazon.
Meeting of Waters

Day 1: Manaus - Janauari Lake - Meeting of Waters

Boarding at 10 a.m. at Marina do Davi (next to the Tropical Hotel). Everyone aboard, we will have a brief meeting to introduce the crew, explain the safety procedures, navigation and routes. After deliverying the cabins, we will embark on a speedboat that will take us to the first tour of the day.

We begin to sail to the East, where we can see the outskirts of Manaus City, Ponta Negra beach, the dome of the Amazonas Theater, the favelas, the Adolpho Lisboa Municipal Market and also a colossal engineering work: the Floating Port. We continue sailing through the Rio Negro up to the Ecological Reserve Lake Janauari, where there are many floating houses. Lunch will be on a floating restaurant, where we can enjoy the Amazonian cuisine (lunch included). After lunch, we will walk along a suspended walkway, from where it is possible to play with wild monkeys and observe various other species of animals and plants, including Victoria amazonica, the famous Victoria Regia.

But the climax of the day is yet to come: it's when we head to this Nature's wonder, unique in the world, the so-called Meeting of the Waters. Two giant rivers, Negro and Solimões, running side by side without mixing. A true spectacle! But the day is not over yet, and we will further visit a floating house where they create some big Pirarucu (Arapaima gigas), an icon fish of the Amazon. Back on board, we will navigate upwards the Rio Negro heading West while contemplating the sunset. At dusk, we will be arriving near the Tukano indian village, inside the Rio Negro Sustainable Development Reserve, the gateway to Anavilhanas. At the beach of Palmeiral land reserve, we'll settle down for the night.

Vila Tucano

Day 2: Tucano Village - Cuieras River - Tucumã Lake

The first activity of the second day is an adventure on land. The trekking in the forest with the Tucanos Indians is an excellent opportunity to get to know up close the life that exists inside the Amazon rainforest. We will enter the forest, learn about the species of plants and large trees that live there, as well as insects and special animals of that forest. We will learn techniques of hunting and survival directly from these Indians. Afterwards, we'll join a presentation inside the Maloca (indian house), where the tribe, led by the Pajé, will show us their rituals.

We leave from there navigating through the Archipelago of Anavilhanas, entering the Cuieras river until the Tucumã lake. A place seldom frequented by tourists, where other ethnic groups can be found - Kambebas, Tukanos and Barés. The adventure continues when we enter the igapós, known by the people as 'enchanted forest', where rare fish and exotic birds inhabit - piranhas, toucans, parrots, parrots, owls ...

Continuing on the Tucumã lake, an electric canoe ride to observe the fauna and learn some fishing techniques used by the local caboclos. At night, we sail silently to hear the sounds of nature.

Day 3: Golden Waterfall

At dawn of the day, to eat well, a real Amazon breakfast on the boat. With everything we've learned so far, we're ready to start the adventure!

After breakfast we will prepare the material for the camp. Yes, let's spend the day out! The adventure begins with a motorboat sailing around 2:30 p.m. on the Cuieras and Igarapé da Cachoeira rivers. When we arrive at Cachoeira Dourada (Golden Waterfall), we will refresh ourselves by bathing in its golden waters.

We will camp and prepare a fire to bake lunch (meat or chicken with cassava flour and regional ingredients). Depending on the water level, we can take a walk to a second waterfall. Then we returned to the camp and sail at dusk. For dinner, we can fish piranhas, tucunarés and regional fish (optional).

Day 4: Terra Preta - Ariaú River

We start the fourth day with a visit to Terra Preta, where there is an indigenous village. There we found handicrafts made by Indians themselves - baskets, necklaces, wooden plates, bows and arrows.

Our next destination will be the river Ariaú. On the way, during navigation, we can bathe on beaches of white sands, typical of the Negro River and Anavilhanas Islands. At dusk we will reach the Ariaú river, well known for being the filming location of the movie 'Anaconda'.

At night, a canoe ride gives us the experience of listening and observing the nocturnal animals of that ecosystem. The union between the Solimões and Negro Rivers makes the Ariaú River a mixed environment, with fauna and flora of both environments. It is common to find alligators in this river.

White Sandy Beaches

Day 5: Ariaú River - Manaus

Early morning to contemplate the sunrise. The experience of the day brightening within the Amazon forests brings a deep sense of peace.

A canoe ride, still in the morning, gives us the opportunity to see how the nature of that region behaves at the beginning of the day. It is possible to see wild animals such as sloth, guariba monkeys, monkey scents, birds such as jaguars, parrots, herons and gypsy ancestors. Among the trees, one of the most prominent in the forest of that region is the giant Samaúma.

We will sail back to Manaus, but if you want (optional activity), you can swim with the pink dolphins in a houseboat, where they come for fish bait and also to play with tourists.

Departure: on Monday, at 10 a.m. at the Marina do Davi (near the Tropical Hotel)
Arrival: Friday, near 1 p.m.

Note: all routes are subject to change according to weather conditions, environment and Nature's overall aspect. Animals are wild and many places visited on our expeditions are not frequented by tourists, so we do not guarantee that all experiences will be the same. During the travel there is no cell phone signal nor Internet connection, which liberates us from distractions and allows us to live the present moment with more intensity, a key factor to connect with Mother Nature.
